'Grupetto' T-Shirt

Made up mostly of sprinters who, like Cheetahs on the savannah, are built for speed and short bursts of power rather than the pure climbers - the mountain goats of the Peloton who eat the steepest inclines for breakfast. The Grupetto or Autobus in French, is about survival and beating the elimination time of a stage. As such those in the Grupetto are often amongst the best descenders, pushing to make up enough time to stay in the race.
Due to the common interest in survival, the mood in the Grupetto often has a greater sense of camaraderie than in the main peloton. Riders often assist one another with food and drinks despite riding for separate teams. It is sometimes referred to as "the laughing group".
